Summary of recent changes
Official High Road 2026 Traxxas Slash ruleset (updated 7/27/2026); shared across Slash Street Stock, Traxxas Midwest Modified, and Traxxas Late Model.
These three Traxxas Slash classes — 2WD Slash Street Stock, Midwest Modified, and Late Model — share one ruleset. If there are not at least 3 Street Stock and 3 Midwest Modified/Late Model entries, all of the Slash classes run together.
You may upgrade the steering servo and radio/receiver. Any Traxxas-brand aluminum parts made for the 2WD Slash may be used. LCG (Low Center of Gravity) and HCG (High Center of Gravity) chassis are legal to run. Minimum ride height 3/4" (0.75"). Approved RPM parts (any color): 80712, 80832, 80852, 8102, 81003, 81005, 80905, 80372, 80382, 80244, 80249, 80599, 73752, 80592, 80595, 80594. All parts must be in their stock locations (no left-side suspension on the right, etc.); camber, toe, ride height, droop, and shock angles can all be changed. No sway bars allowed.
Must use the stock differential — no locking or modifying in any way; must retain diff action. Traxxas Pro Series Magnum 272R transmission is allowed.
Option 1: Traxxas XL-5 ESC and 12T 550 Titan motor combo. Option 2: Traxxas BL-S 2 motor/ESC combo. Option 3: Hobbywing 60A Just Stock ESC and 13.5 Just Stock motor combo. No fans allowed on the motor or ESC.
Any wheel may be used as long as it is for the 2WD Slash Truck — stock wheel offset (front on front, rear on rear); each wheel must have a minimum of 2 vent holes. Tires allowed: Traxxas Kumho Venture, Traxxas Hoosier, DE GT6 grooved, DE GT6 non-grooved, Proline Hot Lap.
Traxxas Ultra Shocks and Traxxas GTR Shocks are allowed. Traxxas Springs only. 2S LiPo, max full charge voltage 8.44V.
