Summary of recent changes
Current class specification.
Traxxas LCG or HCG chassis — no modification, all parts in original locations (no swapping rear arms). RPM upgrades legal (arms, bumpers, caster blocks, carriers). Aluminum allowed only for steering, carriers, caster blocks, and shock caps.
Stock Traxxas XL-5 or BL-2S ESC only; stock Titan 12T or BL-2S motor only. No unsoldering; stock connectors between motor and ESC (bullet connectors OK, no solid solder). Cooling fans legal. No transmission mods / gear shaving (272R trans legal).
2S hard-case LiPo; stock-style battery strap (no velcro); shorty packs legal.
Stock shocks (GTR shocks legal); internal limiters allowed front and rear; no cutting springs; stock location.
Stock tread only: Kumho, Spec, BFGoodrich, or Traxxas modified tire. No aftermarket rims; wheel offsets/spacers may be moved.
DODC-approved modified body (crate mod body legal).
This class will be consumed by Crate Mod in 2027.
