1.Overview
Ready-To-Race Traxxas Slash as shipped (high-CG, brushed 2WD, model 5805). The idea is to limit hop-ups and modifications to control costs. Durability upgrades allowed: RPM or aluminum rear hub carriers, aluminum shock caps.
2.Body
Factory Traxxas body or Pro-Line Slash-specific models.
3.Chassis & suspension
No chassis modifications — raced in stock form; original Traxxas replacement parts (as on the 5805 kit) only for damaged/worn parts. Front and rear suspension stock, original Traxxas parts only — no aftermarket/hop-up components except RPM or aluminum rear hub carriers. Legal tuning parts: original 5805 white shock springs; shock cap may be replaced with aluminum #2667; original Traxxas turnbuckles 3139X, 3139A, 3737, 3737A.
4.Steering & bearings
No steering modifications — original kit parts only. Bearings: any manufacturer.
5.Electronics
Original RTR kit ESC (XL-5) and servo (2075) only. Any receiver and radio allowed.
6.Motor
Stock Traxxas Titan 12T only.
7.Battery
7.2V NiCd/NiMH of 6 sub-C cells, or 7.4V 2-cell LiPo.
8.Wheels & tires
Any original Traxxas Slash 2.2" wheel and any original Traxxas 2.2" Slash tire.
9.Drivetrain
Original Traxxas drivetrain only — no aftermarket or hop-up drive components. Traxxas steel planetary gear differential only (ball diff NOT permitted). Traxxas spur gears 4686 or 4690 permitted; pinion max 23T (stock 16/90 recommended).
