Limestone Raceway — General Rules

v1
General Track RulesEffective Sep 22, 2022· Updated 3 months ago

Summary of recent changes

Limestone Raceway indoor general rules (9-22 revision).

1.General Conduct

Always have fun. Sportsmanship and respect are a must every time your car is on the track — race others how you would like to be raced. No yelling or arguing before, during, or after a race. Team driving is prohibited (disqualification to all drivers involved). No illegal drugs on the property at any time; no alcohol before or during races.

2.Rules Authority

All rules are per DODC rules unless specified (refer to dirtoval.com if needed). Limestone Raceway has the right to modify any rule and makes final judgement on all calls. All cars must be available for tech inspection before and after any race.

3.Drivers' Stand

All drivers use the provided drivers' stand during all races (operating off the stand is only allowed during practice). Talking is limited on the drivers' stand once you are racing; contact track management to handle any driver issues professionally.

4.Marshalling

Marshalling the next race is required after your race. Leave your turned-off car on the tables provided. Top 2 finishing drivers marshal the infield; the rest of the field takes the front and back stretch. It is your responsibility to find a replacement if you cannot marshal.

5.2-Minute Rule

Enforced every event. Once the first car of your race hits the track, a 2-minute clock starts; after the 2 minutes of warm-ups you line up in race order. It is your responsibility to be ready to race.

6.Electronics

No traction control or AVC of any kind in any class. If you run Spektrum SRS4210 or SRS4220 receivers, your receiver must blink.

7.Battery & Weight

Battery voltage in all classes should not exceed 8.44V per meter at tech (a battery check is available before racing start). All additional weight must be properly secured to the car and mounted on the top side of the chassis within the chassis plate.

8.Class Minimums & Points

A class must have at least 3 cars to race in the current event and receive points. Any additional class added to an event needs track management approval and at least 5 cars. You must run 50% of the points season to receive a top-3 trophy at series end.
