The 4th annual Battle of Blakely did not disappoint! 140 cars, new faces, regulars, epic battles, and a lot of smiles. There were even tears. As we locked up for the last time for this season. Hunter Watts, this day was for you! We were able to raise $4,200 to help Hunter and his family! This brings the 4-year total to $28,000! Thank you to everyone who made it possible! The racing community proved once again how amazing it is! We are proud to be part of it!
It’s bittersweet. The last track work of the season. The amount of time spent weekly working on this track. The aggravation when it’s wrong. The excitement when you hit everything just right. I know all the guys at Slideways hope you all have enjoyed the track this season. And we all look forward to seeing everyone this Saturday at the Blakely race! Every single dollar raised will be going to a local family in need, which will be announced at the track.
